The Endless Pool has an inbuilt pump system that produces a non turbulent current with adjustable speed that suits your swimming ability and exercise preference. The 6 HP pump is designed for elite athletes, producing a broader, faster swim current with greater resistance for optimal training. The swim current gauge allows users to set the speed of the current during their training program.
The pool is fitted with an underwater mirror, and provides a unique view of your swim technique from an angled position at the front of the pool. An underwater camera connected to a camcorder is available on request as an optional tool to use during training. Side and back views can be recorded to enable competitive athletes to monitor swim stroke, enabling them to correct or refine technique. The Concept 2 indoor rower exercises all major muscle groups with a motion that is smooth, rhythmic and impact free and promotes flexibility in the athlete’s muscles and joints. The Life Fitness C9i bike is a top of the range cycle with heart rate handlebar sensors, multiple training programs plus 20 levels of resistance displayed on a large scrolling display. Our spacious sauna next to the pool can be used by athletes as a good tool to warm muscles after working out, to prevent injuries and to promote relaxation. Joint pain caused by over-exertion and muscle fatigue may be relieved with regular sauna use. |
