Our Story

One day last century a Biochemist from Barnes and an Environmental Scientist from Tufnell Park met on a residential week in Norfolk with the BTCV. They shared hopes and dreams, went on a date, moved to Scotland to a Steiner farming community, married, had two babies … and when space was tight and the third little Andrews was due, found their forever home in Cornwall, South Torfrey Farm.

Add to that two more babies, the conversion of 120 acres of land to organic status, the transformation of derelict barns to award winning holiday accommodation, several dogs, many cats, turkeys, sheep, chickens, lots of eggs, a small beef suckler herd … and the rest is history!
